Melissa Heywood is a contemporary dance artist from Scotland who strives to push the boundaries of dance performance and physical theatre, with a focus on bringing together dance and the great outdoors. She explores how theatre can inspire audiences to get outside and reconnect to the powers of nature through live performance, community engagement, filmmaking and more.

Melissa received her First Class BA (Hons) in Contemporary Dance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and her Higher National Diploma (HND) with distinction from The MGA Academy of Performing Arts.
